The AGS Group has officially been committed to quality since 1996.
The AGS Group was one of the first companies in the removals industry to implement a recognised and certified quality control procedure, and we continue to pursue this project.
Our primary goal: customer satisfaction and conduct that ensures sustainable development.
This procedure began with the setting up of management systems, which allowed for better control of processes, like commercial services, packing/loading, import/export, storage services, client follow-up, etc. This management also improved resource control such as operational resources, materials and subcontracting.
All our branches adhere to the same quality management procedures and criteria. Our quality procedure (quality control system, policy and goals) is outlined by general management, and then conveyed by branch managers, who are all individually responsible for implementing the quality procedure in their branches. They therefore partake in Group improvement. The data obtained from quality indicators and audit results are used by general management to implement corrective and preventative measures, thus ensuring that our quality standards are consistent.
Back to topStandards, which are identified by management and applied by all the branches, are in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 (a Group-wide certification) and the quality standards unique to our industry, such as NF Storage, NF Move and FAIM (FIDI-Accredited International Movers).
Created in 1997 by FIDI, FAIM is the strictest accreditation and the most recognized in the removals industry. We are proud to announce that AGS has the largest number of FAIM-accredited branches, with 27 certified to date.
By implementing an internal quality policy and applying FIDI standards, AGS’ strategies are focused on internal and external processes and quality indicators. Therefore, the strategy is twice as effective.
The FAIM accreditation is aimed at removals companies that conduct domestic removals. These companies use the FAIM accreditation as a guarantee of quality service to agents who work within different markets.
As a company operating globally, constantly trying to improve our service, AGS has chosen to implement a different strategy: to comply with in-house standards and specified by independent organisations.
With 125 branches in 75 countries, AGS is at your side from departure to arrival, for door-to-door removals. Although far apart, AGS subsidiaries belong to the same Group and operate according to the same quality standards.
We can guarantee the same quality service to all our clients and agents at any country of departure or arrival.

The ISO 9001:2008 certification is awarded by the Swiss auditing company, SGS, the worldwide leader in audits and certifications. AGS was first certified in 1998, and has since received the certification annually. To date, almost all AGS branches are ISO 9001:2008 certified.
The ISO certification is a Group achievement and is a guarantee that each branch complies with the same quality standards. This confirms the Group’s commitment to its clients.
Back to topAll the branches are subject to regular external audits to ensure that their quality management system functions adequately and is implemented at branch level. The Group undergoes an ISO 9001:2008 audit once a year, a FAIM audit every two years and an NF audit every 18 months. In addition, internal audits are completed by operational, financial and quality managers.
Back to topOur branches are members of various international organisations, which is indicative of the AGS Group's objective to ensure quality service. These organisations include:
FIDI is an association of international moving specialists that aims to improve integrity, quality and cooperation in the international removals industry. FIDI organizes conferences and training and launched the FAIM accreditation in 1997, a stringent accreditation that is the most prestigious in the industry.
We are proud to say that AGS has the largest number of FAIM-accredited branches, with 27 branches certified to date.
By virtue of its status, FIDI guarantees the good financial standing of its members. This minimizes financial risk and uncertainty with regards to the selection of agents. If there is risk, the deposit paid by each member will cover all the service fees. FIDI members have to respect and abide by a strict code of conduct: the move process has specific steps with regards to time, course of communication, etc. Poor performance is not accepted.
FIDI also offers a wide range of specialised training with regards to a move, providing information on various aspects of the trade: operations to ensure quality and financial management. Seventy (70) of our expatriates have received awards from the FIDI Academy.
