AGS Supports the Global Compact

AGS is the first international removals group to support the Global Compact.

By virtue of its choice, the AGS Group commits not only to the continuous, efficient management of its carbon footprint, but to respecting and promoting sustainable development in terms of social, environmental and economical activities.

Our Sustainable Development Effort:

Our continued sustainable development effort places people and their environment in the centre of how we conduct our activities. Moving goods and people requires a high level of expertise and attention.

The involvement of our teams and their commitment to AGS’ social and environmental responsibilities are key to our success. Every one of AGS’ 3000 employees endeavours to better the future via 125 subsidiaries (on three continents), because sustainable development also means local development.

Since the Group’s global expansion, we have aimed to contribute to the economic and social development of the countries in which we operate. We recruit locally and train our personnel, in order to aid in the development of local communities. Through administering training on a regular basis, we provide all our employees with the opportunity to learn and develop. Furthermore, AGS, in collaboration with various charities, commits to organizing educational and nutrimental programs, campaigning against aids, and raising awareness of the environment.

Apart from these actions, the AGS group integrates social and environmental issues into its strategies and operations. Risk management programs have been implemented, and security principles are being observed closely.

Since its inception, AGS has and continues to adhere to what is now known as the United Nation’s Global Compact principles, and is committed to respecting each of the fundamental rights.
